The following vehicles are available by reservation to Dunlop School Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Faculty and Staff.
Please plan ahead and request vehicle reservations in a timely manner; Dunlop BioSci Vehicle reservations email is only monitored Monday through Thursday, and approvals can take a few days to process. If you are a new driver, please review the requirements below and complete. Any questions, please email us at biosci-vehicles@uci.edu.
New Driver Check-out Requirements:
- Be Driving Safety Certified.
- If you are not certified, please complete the Driving Safety training, which can be found on UC Irvine Learning Center.
- Please fill out the DMV EPN, Authorized Driver’s Agreement, and email all with a copy of your drivers license to Dunlop BioSci Vehicles.
2001 Ford F-150 Supercab Truck- Red
Vehicle Specs:

- Has 4WD
- Has a hitch
- No A/C
- Has a very large truck bed suitable for equipment
- Best for local fieldwork sites, not recommended for desert/Anza Borrego trips
2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo-White
Vehicle Specs:

- Has AWD, but no 4WD
- Has a hitch
- Recommended for both local and desert sites
2013 Ford Explorer-White
